Dancer's Choice 8-10 years old
At this level students are continuing to refine their gross motor skills, learn rhythm and musicality in a fun and inviting environment. In dancer's choice classes students are able to explore up to four different styles of dance within just 2 hours of classes. Our instructors provide a well planned class using age appropriate movement and music.
Ballet 1Ballet is the foundation for all dance. In this class, students will continue to work on the fundamentals of ballet using the barre and center combinations.
Ballet Class Requirements: Leotard, tights, and pink ballet shoes. ~We have carry some shoes in stock and can order others Jazz 1Jazz dance is a fun upbeat dance style that is suitable for all ages. In this class, students will learn leaps, turns, kicks, and coordination to fun popular music that they love.
Jazz Class Requirements: Form fitting workout clothing, we prefer solid color leggings or shorts, and a form fitting tank, tee, or leotard, and soft jazz shoes. ~We have carry some shoes in stock and can order others |
Tap 1In this class students will continue to advance their tap technique while also focusing on rhythm, counting, and musicality.
Tap Class Requirements: Fitted workout attire, leggings, shorts, leotard, tank, or tee, and black lace-up tap shoes. ~We have carry some shoes in stock and can order others Acro 1Acro Dance is a fun fusion of dance and acrobatics. For this class we use the Acrobatic Arts syllabus that focuses on five different elements; tumbling, limbering, strength, flexibility, and balancing.

We strive to develop well rounded dancers who succeed inside and outside the dance studio. These milestones are goals set for our students to develop them as a whole person.
